the project coordinates of seeing refers to an medialized environment: significations (gender) are pre-dominated by media (movies, propaganda, comercials, fashion), places and cities have been “pre-seen” before having been there. The comparison between characters in movies and people, somewhere met, are an example of how collective remembrance of images influences our every day life. The production of moods, originally transmitted by movies, comercials (desire to consume) musicclips (fun), horrorfilms (aggression) take over personal moods or match it (mirror). At coordinates of seeing two “realities” appear simultaniously: the spectator in the mirror and the videoprojection: the real meets the fiction through a semitransparent mirror.
The videoprotagonist stands next to the spectator and within the movements they overlap.
